League of Legends Season 3: Taking the ‘e’ out of e-sports

Coming out of a World Tournament that elevated e-sports' popularity into the big leagues, Riot Games is planning to take League of Legends mainstream by erasing the distinctions between sports and e-sports. (League of Legends, PC)

A consistent schedule would be nice. I always hear the results/headlines of matches after the fact because I never know when they're on.

As a fighting-game player, I'm used to seeing e-sports being treated as a derogatory term. It seems like that's where everything is heading towards though.
