More cut content from Wind Waker surfaces

Pun intended if said cut content makes it into the Wii U remake. (Culture, Retro, The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Wii U)

If it doesn't contain the content cut from the original, I'm not sure I'm interested. It was fun, but I have more complaints about this game than any other Zelda in the series. I just wasn't that in to it. I'd rather see "The Adventures of Link" HD remake.

Put "Link's Awakening" on WiiU for all I care.
Windwaker just isn't that exciting to me.

My two complaints were difficulty and brevity.

Added contend and Masterquest would fix both.

Which Zelda is your "least" favorite?

You really think WW is better than any other Zelda game out there? I beg to differ!

I've played it, it was great, but it's not worth my time if I'm just playing the same game.

Disagree?... back it up then fool!

First, I never claimed WW was my favorite.
Its difficulty and brevity hold it back, as I had previously stated.

My least favorite is Adventures of Link, because I didn't particularly enjoy the combat system, and I found the difficulty overly frustrating. Zelda has had balancing issues throughout the series, clearly.

My favorite is actually Twilight Princess (even with its low-level of difficulty), because it wholly engulfed me from two hours in to end. (Fuck the beginning, frankly).

I can still love a game and admit its faults.

Regardless, nothing I said needed "backed up." It was all pretty self-explanatory.

I don't think these two islands are sufficient to advertise the game to have "new" content, and i don't think those islands were cut due to time constraints.

There were definitely two DUNGEONS cut due to time constraints.

One was the water one, for the orb.

It was really awkward in the game when it just gave it to you with no fight.

New levels isn't new content?

I have not yet played this game, as I am one of the people who did not own a Gamecube. So I am excited to get this for Wii U.

I found a copy for GC over the summer but I'm going to wait. I got 2 dungeons in and haven't touched it since but I'm glad.

can't wait for HD

it's worth it
but IMO not the best Zelda
my personal favorite is Majoras Mask / OoT

the main point is that if it looks as good as it does on the screenshot, then holy shit.
it's awesome.

WW was far too easy and yes light on dungeons. Gorgeous game though and very charming. Still a disappointment for many though that felt short changed

all i want for the wind waker remake is for nintendo to remove the hunt for the triforce shards
Adropacrich2  +   608d ago
Thing is that shortens the game even further. Tbh I'd rather they padded even more if it extends my time in this beautiful world

i honestly was never able to beat wind waker cause of that really bad fetch quest
Benjaminkno  +   608d ago
Bad fetch Quest?!

The falling hole?!

That would be so awesome to play through it for the first time in HD! I really loved the artwork.

I had the same problem with Prime 1 and 2.

Even Metroid is my fav series getting the artifacts/keys was such a mood killer.

Prime 3 wasn't so bad cause you didn't have to collect all the energy thingies unless you wanted 100%.

WW's wasn't as bad but maybe still felt tacked on.

Introducing cut content would make it almost a new game

New visuals, new interface/controls, more gameplay, refined mechanics

Hopefully a reduced price will be in place as well
