Monster Monpiece Doing Well; Compile Heart Apologize For Shortages

Compile Heart shipped 27,000 copies of the game in Japan and they’re selling out. (Monster Monpiece, PS Vita)

damn, 27000 copies and their expectation was all set?
though a crappy game (at least for my standards anyway) its always a breather hearing news about game pubs/developers who are all about the fans. Making a game of pure fan service as well as apologizing for shortages.

I also thought it was just gonna be fanservice game but it isnt. According to a siliconera users, it has some in depth stuff to it and great soundtracks too.

Compile Heart is a very small developer in Japan who usually makes very niche games even for Japan standards.

Their most popular franchise Hyperdimension Neptunia does around 30K, so an obscure new IP game like MonMon doing 27K is a pleasant surprise. With more demands coming for increased shipment too.

I also have heard despite the weirdness of the game it is a very deep game with an incredible soundtack. Importing is easy since the game has illustrated menus & easy to follow instructions on how to play the game.
