I doubt that's the purpose of the price drop. Sony has been trying new things to increase sales, Day-1 Digital and Cross-Buy being two examples, and this sorta feels like another. Maybe it'll help, maybe it won't.
Yo I disagreed with your comment the reason is because im thinking if you liked the demo your sure to like the full game not that im speaking for you but think bout it day one its 40 bucks! Plus cross buy if you got a vita or planning to get one you have a game already what im hoping is that if this sells tons at 40 bucks who knows it might start an industry trend?? But join me and other sly fans and support sanzaru games and this price day one! This game from the demo it feels like an awesome entry in the series!

Watching someone else play it isn't really playing the demo yourself, getting a feel. Either excitement or dislike.
You cannot judge to buy a game on that.
