so how does game play on the wii u? just curious.
Erimgard  +   1105d ago
A Capcom executive was asked about control schemes (just for the game in general, not platform specific) and said those details will be revealed at a later time.
tehpees3  +   1104d ago
I'm guessing its the same as 3DS but everything the touch screen had/did will be done on the Gamepad. I'm curious to know if they change it.

from what i know controls will be tweaked for consoles

it may be more like re4/5 in terms of movement feel but being able to move while shooting and not the re6 fluild movements as there isnt that kind of space in the revelation game to do so

wow 50 bucks...that's way too steep for a game that a year old and it's a port. i can understand 30, but not 50.

Scrapcom making a buck here, a buck there....

Perhaps they think they have hit on a winner.

Expect them to release yearly rehashes carrying the title RE Revelations 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. a SUPER way to reinvent themselves.

Business team assuming they have mistakenly stumbled upon some cashcow game formula, instead of realizing the importance of crafting quality titles, will make an effort to tack on some cool features like online competitive MP, complete with perks. ahahahah

though a bit negative, it good to see people not bending over Capcom. I've personally stopped supporting them after several re-releases of the same game.(eg. street fighter 4, super sf4)

It'll probably be 40 on PC. If GMG carries it probably $30.

Glad I played it and beat it on the 3DS XL -- Damn fine game :) wouldn't pay 50 just to play it on my PS3 though...
Treian  +   1105d ago
it's not a plain port. It is remastered in HD, has new characters, new modes, etc....

Pozzle  +   1104d ago
That doesn't mean it should cost the same as a new full-price title.

Dude, gasoline cost nearly 40 bucks to fill up the whole tank for my car. There is no way in hell, I am going to spend 50 dollars for a game that's a year old, with a year old code, and hell, especially not for a company like Capcom. I even bought all of Capcom's stuff new on Ebay for 4/10ths of the normal price.
hellvaguy  +   1105d ago
If your really concerned with paying for gas, food, water, etc, maybe you shouldn't be spendy any money at all on luxury items such as video games. Meanwhile the rest of us not working for minimum wages, it isn't so much of a concern.
Murad  +   1105d ago
Dude, you know one thing money can't buy? Knowledge. You're argument is frail in comparison to mine, and I suggest you use your money better and go to college, just like I am right now, it would help you a great deal more, along with your parents.

Yeah, guys! Didn't you know that poor people aren't allowed to have fun! They're too poor for that!

thats the problem with people today oh its only $50 for something worth maybe $30 it has nothing to do about the money its about the concept of paying more for something when its clearly not worth it but people like you are the ones who are feeding the greedy companies that think they can rehash game after game and only change a few things here and there then charge us full price for it and you eat it up while they have a great big grin on there face knowing what suckers some people are and thats your reality
HarryMasonHerpderp  +   1104d ago
Exactly, I could afford to buy the game for £30 (in the UK) but do I want to? no, because it shouldn't cost that much to begin with.
Capcom did the same thing for Resident Evil Code Veronica and Okami HD, I love those games and really wanted them but I won't buy them on principle because they're overpriced. Especially for just a file on the PSN store.
gpturbo81  +   1104d ago
and its people like you that have no problem paying 60 for the same CoD every year. everybody knows retail is for suckers. i understand the principle, i just dont give a shit. corporate greed will always exist, regardless of what any of us do, or think about it. "eat it up" you say? the only thing i eat up with a big grin on my face is pussy.

I really hope they add split screen co-op support, too much developers are dropping it for online.
Realplaya  +   1104d ago
