im only regular gamers club so I dont care. I think we get 10$ or something like that. I dont preorder games anyways. Sometimes on amazon a few years back I did tho because they were giving 20$ credit with alot of things.
Best Buy is the reason I preordered any games at all last year.
and they have a 30-day window to price match games! so if these games drop in price anywhere within 30 days after your purchase, you can price match AND keep this $20 certificate.
Obviously you're not aware of a little web retailer known as Amazon.com.
I pre-ordered 7 different games in 2012 from Amazon that had the $20 pre-order credit. This year, I've already pre-ordered Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3 with the same $20 credit. With Dead Space 3....as with a couple games I pre-ordered last year...I'm only pre-ordering for the $20 credit, and will be "returning" the DS game to Wal-mart as a "gift with no receipt" for $64 on a Wal-mart merchandise card.
For anyone who buys new games as often as i do you cant beat this. Any game i really want to play i almost always buy new and usually this means quite a few games a year. These pre order deals from best buy during fall 2011 and fall 2012 probably got me 5 or 6 free games in all and the spring line up has more games i want than any other period ive seen this gen and since ill probably be buying 10 of these on this list new anyway might as well pre order them and get 200 bucks back plus another 20 or so in rewards points which will get me 3 of the 10 for free. you'd have to be stupid to buy games new from most any where else if you know about this. Ive only gone to best buy the last 2 or 3 years and its probably saved me somewhere around $500 so far with all the offers they do. i dont think a lot of people know about this though or no one would buy new from game stop anymore.
It's basically buy 3 get 1 free on New release games.

They generally do these pre-order deals the first and second half of the year with 12 of the biggest titles for that time frame.
