Gameloft Channels Battlefield Heroes With Blitz Brigade

Chris Buffa (Modojo): The debut trailer for Gameloft's Blitz Brigade encourages players to "roll out and hit the battlefield hard." Seems fitting, since the upcoming iOS and Android title appears to emulate EA's Battlefield Heroes. Coming soon, this free-to-play first and perhaps third-person shooter pits two squads against each other, complete with vehicles like jeeps and tanks, as well as a variety of different classes. The cartoon art style is shades of Battlefield, but who are we to judge? EA has yet to make its PC smash hit available on smartphones and tablets, leaving the door wide open for a competitor to provide a comparable experience. Considering its history, Gameloft is an ideal candidate. (Android, Blitz Brigade, iPad, iPhone)
