Why Vigil and the Darksiders franchise deserved better

They could have thought of people in recesion times by not having stupid DLC politics and then people would have bought it already.

Me, I was waiting for a complete edition. Now, most probably it won't happen, so I'll buy the game for ...20€ instead of 60€ when it first got released (thank you THQ for saving me 40€).

DLC is a wrong practice and developers should realize it.

Darksiders 2 had its ups and downs, downs i could handle but when i saw what DLCs are... there was no mercy, Arguls Tomb is a raw meat out of the main game. Good DLCs are fine but not in Darksiders 2 example.

Half of these companies that try the DLC milking model end up failing.....only a few companies have done DLC right this gen ...I hope moving forward companies realize that gamers prefer full expansions like on RDR , GTA, Skyrim, Fallout.....and not this nickel and dime crap for on disc content or content that was taken out of the full game.

There definitely is a place for DLC , if done right..

As far as Vigil..I've been a Joe Mad fan since Uncanny Xmen comics in the late 90s....hopefully him and his company gets picked up by a company that will give Darksiders the high production values it deserves. Then maybe he can make a game out of Battle Chasers..

Wow so all of you above have never played the game or even understand that none of the DLC was on disc...you all epic fail.

Each of the DLC added new armor and weapon sets, bosses that were really cool and even added to the mythology of the DS universe.

It's gamers like those above that make me sick think you guys have the right to have an opinion...ignorant opinions are like a**holes everyone has one and it's full of s**t.

Not mad just frustrated that you guys don't even have enough grey matter between your ears to research before you speak...

Wow......what a tirade because someone else found less value in the DLC than you did...get over yourself....they are called "opinions" for a reason.

Darksiders 2 is not a great example of DLC done right this gen......"IMHO"

So many users on N4G comment their ignorant opinions and push them as fact but when pushed back by users who know what they are talking about then they act like it's a "tirade".

Someone needs to petition Nintendo to scoop them up. A new open world Zelda game could REALLY use the expertise that Vigil has shown with the genre.
