Awesome, I'm glad Nintendo is starting to take the same route Valve has been taking. I'm actually looking forward to buying the Wii U once the price goes down and that all of the bugs and errors are fully removed.

I don't know y they say free to play, there demos
Murad  +   142d ago
Are they? I didn't bother going to the site, I only checked the name. Never mind then, I guess Nintendo still hasn't learned their lessons yet.

The first table or so is free, then you pay for additional tables after that.
Tank Tank Tank is freemium in Japan as well
Ghost Recon Online will also be freemium on Wii U as well.

No this is free to play, you download zen pinball 2 for free, then you get extra tables by paying more quit commenting on something you don't know about

If it works at all like the PS3/Vita versions of this game, then it most definitely is more of a demo than an actual game. It's freemium, beyond one or two tables.

I had two dozen tables from the original game that carried over, so it made it a much lesser deal for me, but Wii U owners don't have that benefit

@Rockefellow that is the definition of free to play, you get only so many things to do, but then you pay to get more content. It's just how the developer implements it. So technically this is free to play.

Yeah, they are essentially demos. I do remember reading that the Wii U has everything needed for microtransactions, i.e. the heart of the free-to-play model.
Realplaya  +   141d ago
That's because the developer needs to get paid.

Demo's are smaller FTP offers a preview of everything.

elhebbo16  +   142d ago
wtf? no free to play means that the game is free.. to play. being open-world is irrelevant.

Yeah, it's an awesome open-world pinball game. Mind-blowing stuff, really.

lol The image is just plain mindblowing. XXXD
WeAreLegion  +   142d ago
It's only "free" for the first few minutes. When you reach a certain score, it stops. I've played it on PS3 and Vita. You have to pay to do ANYTHING
