Pokemon will be entering its 6th generation on October since it’s introduction in 1998. While specifics are a long ways away, many of us trainers will be itching to see how our beloved franchise will evolve! Which is why with the help of several leading experts, including the original Pokemon Professor, Samuel Oak, PhD in Interpersonal Pokemon Relationships, here we have compiled a list of popular theories and predictions that trainers can hope for in the the new 6th generation for Pokemon X and Y!
Even if Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have not yet completed their first anniversary, it is possible to predict exactly when Gen 10 is arriving.
The Nerd Stash: "There's been a lot of talk about Pokemon and Palworld recently, but if anything, Pokemon's new competition should be a sign to change."
Fortunately for Nintendo, the legal team is separate from Game Freak’s development team.
they do tho .. IF there is something to sue for. IP infringement is such a delicate thing.
but absolutely agree on the change
That, have longer dev time, and absolutely get rid of Nintendo as the exclusive platform. Imagine a AAA pkmn game on current consoles or next generation.
But money, they'll make billions with little effort.
Idk yall. I'd take a Pokémon jrpg over a Pokémon with guns, online play etc. Plus wasn't Pokémon mobile pretty fking big like 4 years ago then covid hit.
No they don't I don't want any of the gameplay anywhere near Pokemon the only link between them is the idea of Pokemon except there's guns you enslave humans and Pokemon and there's a survival aspect.
Pokemon is fairly family friendly can't see Nintendo going ok let's give them m16s and slaughter each other
The Pokemon Company has finally made an official statement regarding Palworld, saying, "We intend to investigate and take appropriate measures to address any acts that infringe on intellectual property rights related to the Pokémon."
English translation provided on page.
Nintendo and GameFreak are best served by not commenting at all and just focusing on making the next Pokémon as good as it can be. Also what exactly are they gonna investigate? Are they gonna try to get the game taken down and sue the devs?
They're upset because someone is upstaging them. So sad to see they actually have some competition and can't just keep putting minimal effort into their titles going forward.
The harsh reality of this is that Palworld would have been nothing if GameFreak and Nintendo were living up to the potential of the Pokemon property.
All I can really see here is the laziness and incompetence of the pokemon developers at play.
Seems like we have some competition and Nintendo doesn't like it, because now they may need to put some effort into their Pokemon games. People were starving for a great Pokemon game and never got one, which is partially why Palworld is as successful as it is, while also adding other game mechanics which mesh so well.
should’ve investigate why the most profitable entertainment IP in the world only managed to release games with subpar quality like scarlet and violet
I'm looking for non legendary fire/flying and ice/steel types.
- New Eeveelutions
I've always liked this picture, especially the fighting type one.

Not a very good list IMO. Don't get me wrong I'd like a new eevelution or two, but I'd much rather have new gameplay features over this stuff.
I'd like to see them try something with AR. I feel they could do creative things with that.
I also want them to use PWT again. Such a great concept and it'll be a shame if it was a one-off.
New Pokemon types. I think there's like 40-50 combinations they haven't used yet.
I really want reforms and enhancements in online trading. First of all and most importantly, they really need to fix the impossible trade request thing. You can't find anything on GTS because people ask for crap like Charizard 9 and under. I also would like more search options like being able to request/search for shiny pokemon. Also, I think a seperate auction mode would be nice. Put a pokemon up, and people can make offers, and the person chooses the offer they like the most.
Those are some of my ideas. I have more, but this post is already long enough. Maybe in a different article lol.
