Metal Gear Rising Gets Car Chases And Panzer Dragoon Moments
Gamesta.com has some more Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance gameplay moments to share. In some over the top trailers, Raiden can be found in a high speed car chase, flying a bird and crushing the insides of his enemies.

Im really liking the look of the game so far, but the darker, broodier Raiden seems so forced and the VA feels insincere. Doesn't seem very believable even for a video game character.
Yeah, I know but something feels really off with the way they're handling the tone with the English voice acting to me, I donno maybe Im just nitpicking.
@Zero - I agree that Raiden VA sounds corny and forced on but the Japanese VA sounds very good and this usually happnes when a Japanese game developer makes a Japanese game and ports it over to english, even Japanese movies sound corny when you watch them in english.
Edit: When I buy the game I will play it with Japanse audio and english subtitles.
I usually just play it with the english dub, just to save myself from reading the subtitles. Second play through are better with the Japanese audio, because I know what is going on more.
The game is ridiculously easy. Just mash square and then go into blade mode to kill the enemy. Most enemies don't even need to be hit. Just got to blade mode to insta-kill them and get a full refill of your energy and health. The combat is a joke.
U can't just hit square. The blade needs to build it similar to devil trigger so you can't just blade mode your way through the whole game.
Ridiculously easy? U must have mistaken this for DmC. This team is known for creating some of the most difficult games, such as the original DMC and Viewtiful Joe.
Don't mind him, he loves DmC and hates Platinum as shown and stated on evey article he comments on, he wants his hate to catch on, like an angry man starting an argument with you wants his anger to pass on and be contagious because he can't accept that this game has the potential to be a much greater game than DmC being that 2 of the most talented Japanese Developers are behind it. You guys and I already know you cant mash square, as well as many other people, as seen in the demo, gameplay vids, he just wants to troll and be happy doing it hoping people will follow, those 2 agrees are probably the most agrees he has gotten on an article for a while, which says little to no one agrees with him (I know I dont). Devil Trigger though was not the best example, Blade Mode meter is full from when you start and if used wisely can stay full with the removal of a spine when defeating an enemy, but it also fills with every hit landed on an enemy if you do not have enough to enter blade mode. Plus, its only the small "pawn" like enemies that can get killed instantly with blade mode (the cyborg guard forces seen in the demo) the only way the Gekko can be killed in one hit is as a stealth kill from behind, fighting them head on requires you to weaken them with combo hits, utilize parry or dodge, then you are able to blade mode the Gekko when weak. The boss of course also is a great example of not being able to mash square to victory and compared to DmC, I think Rising on normal seems more difficult than DmC on Son of Sparda so far.
I like how it so fast paced. I hope we can go faster and faster till its like a blur on screen and have to rely on understanding of shapes to know what im doing?
no you make a good point.60fps is the way to go,how can a MGS fan not pick up this game when it comes out? two of the best developers from japan on one game,a cyborg ninja and the game is in MGS universe too! how does the saying goes. here take my money!
You're spot on, this amazing game needs much more recognition than it's receiving. It's extremely polished and well made. Platinum games got screwed with Vanquish and that game was amazingly smooth and fun.
Played the demo a couple of days ago. It's freakin awesome! I just might have gone a little overboard by trying to slice every single thing in the game except that ninja cat that dodges every thing I throw at him.
Minor gripe considering the game itself, but still.

Bayonetta what

True, anyway I just thought Id bring it up in case anyone else noticed, I'll still be getting the game cause its in no way a deal breaker.
I'm just afraid I'm not a good enough player to make it look this badass.
DmC is way better than this garbage.
