IGN AU's Tristan and Lucy discuss cover-shooting, co-op and zombie Kevin Spacey. Plus a special appearance from Visceral Games' John Calhoun.
The way the horror genre is going soon even a game like gear of war will be classified as horror.
I just hate how game development is leaning more and more towards being a popularity contest. Dead Space used to be something unique but now it's just Gears of Dead Space 3 - a transition similar to mass effect 2 to mass effect 3 - and it tries to replicate CoD and Gears completely, because it apparently sells better. I'm so sick of how much passion companies have lost in gaming over the past years.
It was touted to be one, if you remember the 4-6 page preview of Gameinformer magazine a long time ago. They showed a lot of darkness and even the preview trailer made it seem like a survival horror game. I wont be buying the game till it's in the bargain bins. Oh well, there's Aliens Colonial Marines coming up anyway.
