AppSmile: Infestor, the latest bite-sized platformer from Ravenous Games, is now available from the app store. Despite its clever “take-over” mechanics and signature graphics, the way-too-short level design, awkward button placement, and wonky achievements have caused this one to stumble out of the gates.
Dave writes: "Infestor is a puzzle-platform snack that won’t leave a bad taste, but won’t fill you up either. Sure, popping humans never gets old, but it’s the bits between the popping that feel familiar and not particularly challenging. On balance, you might be better infesting your money elsewhere."
Infestor allows you to take over a human's body, with it taking their unique properties and/or abilities to solve the puzzles.
Infestor is a new puzzle platformer from Ratalaika Games and Woblyware where you take over poor humans and use their bodies for your bidding. The game arrives on Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5 on May 7th.
