EqualOpportunityFanboy.com will be doing a weekly feature on older games that everyone should still be appreciating for the influence they've had on the gaming industry. This week: Smuggler's Run
but.......I fkn LOVED this game! If there was ever a re-make, I'd pay handsomely for it.
We would sit and just drive for hours at the place I worked at. People would sit around just watching someone drive around: Exploring the terrain. Running over the backpackers. Crashing into things. Trying to jump your vehicle onto the train. Angel had some incredibly talented engineers back then.
Me and my brother played 'unofficial' tag in multiplayer. I never even played the 'real' game now that I think about it. Still, even just free roaming with my brother and doing crazy stuff, this game left a huge positive memory right in the middle of this gamers brain. I think I'm gonna go to gamestop(ugh) and buy this tomorrow, I'm sure they have it.
good grafix at the time and fun to drive around but the actual game wasnt that good. I didnt like diving to smoke and then having cops keep crashing into me.
