Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Review | Cheat CC

In a world full of dark and complex role-playing games, it's been some time since we've seen a simpler kind of game, where good faces off against evil and adventure is accompanied by a sense of wonder. Enter Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, a collaboration between veteran RPG developer Level-5 and internationally acclaimed animation house Studio Ghibli. This visually stunning game, with the sensibility of a fairy tale and the scope of an epic quest, is exactly what the doctor ordered. (Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, PS3) 4.8/5

Looks terrific. I ordered this game this morning. I hoped to cut back my spending on games. I'll start being more responsible after buying this one. Maybe.

have anyone played the game?
i myself love Ghibli but not a fan on turn based combat system, thats why i have a hard time with JRPG games, but man, i really want to try this game out, not just a demo version, cause i think a demo cant really justify a game.
If anyone has played the real game, not the demo, can you recommend the game for a gamer that loves Ghiblis work but aint a fan of turn based combat ?

The combat isn't completely turn based. There's an element of that, but for the most part, it's real time. All skills have certain timers on them that need to be recharged (some instant, like physical attacking) and players will be running around the battlefield trying use time and space to their advantage. Calling it just "turn based" without any further description doesn't describe Ni no Kuni, that describes, like, Breath of Fire, or Dragon Warrior or the early Final Fantasy games.

Thanx :)
im going to pick this game up day one, i love RPG games and ghibli studios.
But like i said before, i dont like turn based combat system and thats why i have a hard time playing JRPG games, but if it is like you said, real time combat for the most part, with elements of turnbased combat system, then i think i can adapt to that :)
