Polygon writes: 'Namco Bandai Games released a round of screenshots this morning for its upcoming action role-playing game God Eater 2, offering a glimpse at sets of new weapons, locations and characters that vary from its predecessor.'
Call me when released outside of Japan. Looks awesome tho
Tell me about it, such an annoyance. I will be peeved if this game is not localized outside of japan or it will be something stupid like only the PSP version get's localized not the PS Vita version..
I'm hoping of the PSP version rather than the PS Vita, but if they were to localiza only one of the ports, it most likely to be the Vita one, IMO.
I don't think they should have even put it on the PSP. It doesn't make sense, Sony is shooting themselves in the foot.
@rpd123 When Namco-Bandai started to develop God Eater 2, they did it as a PSP game. Then, in september 19, they announced that the game would also be avaible for PS Vita. I kind get what you mean...PSP is still selling better than the Vita, specially in Japan. But japanese developers are still making games for PSP. It's not Sony's decision, but theirs, and in this case, Namco-Bandai's.
Ah, I didn't know that, thanks for the info. I just got the first God Eater and it's a lot of fun, I think that God Eater 2 could actually move a lot of systems in Japan. The heavy support for the PSP is killing the Vita there. It's understandable though, the developers have way more people to sell the game to if it's on PSP.
You're welcome. Gods Eater is a great game, following mechanics of Monster Hunter, but with a different thematic. The only problem on the PSP is the lack of a second analog stick. For PS Vita, this game, alongside with Ragnarok Odyssey and Soul Sacrifice, will somehow fill the void left by MH.
I'll buy a Vita if this comes out in the US.
