Video: Dead Space 3 Co-Op Demo Impressions (vividgamer.com)

Eric of VividGamer.com writes:

"James and I sat down last week to play through the Dead Space 3 Co-Op demo, while we were blown away by the visuals and pleased to see the gameplay hasn’t really changed all that much, we were a little concerned about co-op taking away from the scares in the game. To hear our full impressions of the game check out the video impressions below that features co-op gameplay footage from the demo." (Dead Space 3, PS3, Xbox 360)

I definitely think co-op changes the game, but it looks like it might be a fun experience. I like the idea of the two characters talking to each other, so that the 2-player experience is NOT just the singleplayer with another person.

The Co-op may be the thing why I would buy this game :)

How is it like gears...? If anything its closer to the original source material. John Carpenders "The Thing." now with a supporting character (like the film.) yet the main character still isnt trusting.(like the film) and now with a snow setting(like the film.) enemies don't mutate all the way and are able to use objects (like the film.) I can keep going.

Also read up. Dead Space was originally meant to be a co-op game but they could not do it. The fact you used "GEARS" as a knock and not the many games GEARS of War took parts from shows your lack of knowledge of games.

I've played the demo and in no way does it have the scare factor i experienced in DS1. Therefore my opinion still stands. Go find yourself a gf and stop hating on peoples opinions.

Ps last time i checked the thing didn't have characters in space suits lol clown.

The fact you had to resort to name calling is a sign of desperation. My case is still sound.

Just finished playing this demo. It wasn't pleasant. Not because it was bad, but because...

...I REALLY don't like when things pop out of nowhere...

Couldn't disagree more. Yes, from what I felt from the demo, that incredible lone suspense wasn't exactly present, but never have I played a co-op game that suspenseful. Out of anything, Army of Two, Gears, Halo, anything. My friend and I had a blast freaking out and figuring things out. Co-op only made the franchise better for me.
