How to Get Games for Windows LIVE Working on Windows 8

Since adopting Microsoft’s latest operating system (OS) as their primary PC entertainment source many gamers have found it difficult, or even impossible, to run their Games for Windows LIVE titles. However, a solution isn’t too far away as Metro Gaming brings you the full lowdown on the solution. (Games for Windows - LIVE, Microsoft, PC, Tech, Windows 8)

I know how: Restore back to Windows 7.

It must suck to buy a new computer these days, since most of the good computers come with Windows 8 pre-installed. Although I do see some computers selling with Windows 7.

Agreed.
Another solution would be to not play games which require Games for Windows LIVE.

Easy solution to get Windows 7. You build it yourself, pick up Windows 7, and save several hundred dollars.

By build I mean you open up about a dozen boxes, plug in the components (its so easy now all the plugs will only fit into the correct slot) and go. Watch one of 1,000+ youtube vids if uncertain.

Honestly a monkey could build a pc nowadays.

I had to do this recently to play Arkham Asylum, but it was worth it, that game is beyond awesome.
