Wind Waker Wii U is the Perfect Opportunity to Release a Complete Director’s Cut

GenGAME writes: "Though The Wind Waker is now fondly remembered by those who tried it despite the early stigmas against its visuals and style, to this day it remains the most “incomplete” Zelda game. But thanks to the incoming release of The Wind Waker Wii U, an HD remake of the original game, the Zelda team now faces the perfect opportunity to rebuild what was lost and release the game the way it was meant to be." (The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Wii U)

Wind Waker was one of my personal favorite games of all time so I'm going to be getting this day 1 no questions.

I knew there was a reason I bought a Wii U

Day one here too! Though I think actually buying the console would come first lol. Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game so this is a no brainier.

I actually never beat wind waker because I got bored of sailing around but I've always wanted to go back and play it. I now have the perfect excuse. It looks really pretty and I can't wait for it's release.

you didnt even need to sail around after a certain part in the game ..

just recently bought WW for GC a few months back.

Got past the first 2 dungeons then kind of stalled because I had some other games.

That was 2 months ago probably, so I'm just going to wait on finishing the rest until WW HD is out. That should mean I have about 75% of the game left that I haven't seen that will be new to me.

I can deal with doing the first 2 dungeons again even though I really dislike dungeons for some reason. lol

"even though I really dislike dungeons for some reason. lol"

Maybe because their dark, scary and versatile and a guy named Steve lives in one!

lol

Great, I like this article!

I said most of this yesterday. It is good to know that other people remember the past articles about WW, as well.

The extra and WiiUPad usage would be the only thing that makes me replay.

Changing wind direction can stay in as long as they remove the long animation, the need to stop the ship, and maybe place the wind directions icons on the pad.
-Or put the Baton mini game on the pad but allow the action to move forward on the big screen.

It would also be nice if you could use the WiiUPad's gyroscope on the Reflecting Shield puzzles.

Also, In this game- having the Sea Chart ever present would be a godsend.

I remember having reached the final dungeon when I finally got my first death/game over. That made me realize I got THAT FAR until dying. The game really wasn't all that challenging, nor were the puzzles challenging either. It was beautiful, but easy.

Would be cool to see new dungeons in Wind Waker. I also can't wait to see sailing in the new engine :)
