they are great! it seems I must buy this game! This could beat GT5, until GT6 comes... at least someone who can compete with PD at last! and it seems it will be on ps3 also, just great year for gaming... even with ps4 on horizon...

I hope its true! I never played it so I cant say that yet.... I finished GT5 long ago.. all its left is seasonal events, online and some new cars and tracks now and then but not enough.... this new game I m looking forward to..

The last games developed by Slightly Mad Studios are Need For Speed Shift and Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends.

Those games are so horribly inferior to the Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport franchises that it's not even funny. As such, Slightly Mad Studios have one hell of an uphill battle to prove themselves.

Screenshots don't really count for much when their last games were absolute junk.

I am a huge GT fan, since 1998. GT5 was great, but it is no real match for this in terms of dynamics and physics, nor visuals.

It shouldn't come at too much of a surprise, because this is designed for PC hardware several generations beyond what PS3 could possibly achieve.

I have played this since October 2011 and seen it advance and it is amazing how far it has come.

Remember everything you see in these shots is in game with just the camera moved, no post processing tricks that Forza and GT do in photo mode.

You're right, Project Cars doesn't have multiple versions of the Prius to race. Shucks.

Yeh I know certain gamers love that PD series of racing games but Project Cars blows that away.

The level of detail even in Alpha is second to NONE, The Physics are spot on and even the crash physics makes you go WHOA!

Cars have Damage, real damage like loosing fenders, Spoilers and this effects the cars performance instantly.

The Graphics are CRAZY SEXY but it's the gameplay that hits it outta the park. I've been playing with wheels n pedals but upon full release I should have a Hydrualic set-up ready for Project CARS cause is see myself putting in serious time on this one.

So many cars available and I'm not talking 200 different types of Skylines either. Classics, present, and all kinds of GT models are in there.

And since it's a COMMUNITY Game the car list and customizations will only increase on a monthly basis as gamers will have input to this glorious racer.

So if you love the PD series of racing games I suggest you get yourself a Gaming PC and go download Project CARS Alpha RIGHT NOW and play it before you Rage disagree.

even if they do put it on ps3 it wont look this good, this is on a high end pc and that's why the graphics look so much better than gt5.(I particularly enjoy the details of the track and backgrounds, something gt5 severly lacks IMO) If this goes console i would definitly not expect it to look this good. Close but not this good.

While other studios rely on press release bullshots, this studio let the community do all the showing off. That says a lot.

This game will probably beat GT5 in terms of visuals but in terms of physics and enjoyment from driving a car - hell no. Period. GT5 is unique.

Because you played Project Cars? I mean how else could you make that comparison. You must have contributed to its development.

Unless you think PD is the only developer capable of making a racing sim. But that certainly can't be the case.

its a pc with unlimited power the AI is way better in project cars. Common sence your gt5 physics where made on a pc.

As long as the AI is not absurdly aggressive, overpowered and can knock you off the track uncontrollably with a mere bump like in Shift 2, then I am interested. Shift 2 is a game I try to love, but it will not let me.

yeah that rain shot was great looking, there were a few of them I had to look twice at but the rain shot pulls it off the best.
