Sony Offer Free PlayStation Plus & God of War: Ascension Beta Access

A new promotion from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is offering PlayStation gamers the opportunity to grab a thirty day PlayStation Plus subscription. What’s more, those who do will automatically receive a free access code for the currently on-going God of War: Ascension closed beta testing phase. (God of War: Ascension, PS Vita, PS3, Tag Invalid)

Don't sign up for the 30 day free trial of PS Plus. I did it once, after my 30 days were up it automatically continued and Sony withdrew 17,99$ from my account, cause of my information that was already in their system.

Don't believe me? Try downloading the free 30 days PS plus without typing in your billing info. It won't let you download it, until you type in billing info and credit card info.

I'm glad i got the free 30 days trial but when i later found out they had automatically withdrawn money from my account i was pissed.

Too many scammers these days.

@aCasualGamer, you do know that they let you know they will withdrawn funds from you account when the time comes to renew. It's called automatic renewal. It's a feature that can be turned off or you can just deleted you credit/debit card info from your account.

Maybe you should have read the fine print or just read the info provided to you before proceeding. Don't blame a company for you not reading the information given to you.

Also, if you felt like you have been scammed, why didn't you call Sony and have them refund your money?

So is this only work for EU accounts?
matrixman92  +   699d ago
I just got my codes and used them on my account, I am in US...and they did NOT work. I guess they are only for Europe, or the codes are just duds. The 2 codes I got are strangely similar, so it seems weird...I didnt think they could region lock codes, but i guess so

make a EU account and try them out. It might work that's what I'm doing.
