I liked yoshi's story, although it got bad reviews and was very short, i loved the style and it was fun

God Im so sick of Wii U showing off side scrollers and mini-games. Make a full 3-D platformer or adventure game that isn't Zelda or Mario for God's sake! I even liked Kid Icarus!!

Console has been out for less than 2 months globaly. Remember , shit doesn't just magically appear on consoles , and especially the good stuff takes time and effort.

I think that stems from the original Wii as well.

But that's Nintendo's history and strong suit, and it's easier to put out a 2D side scroller, than a full 3D game.

They did show off the new game by monolith which i know isn't a platformer or adventure game but it is a RPG so it's not like they can't make them.

Also, 2d games sell better. So, they're easier to make and sell better. If you worked at Nintendo what kind of game would you make? Super Mario Galaxy 3 or New Super Mario Bros. U?

I get great games take time but hey I'm willing to wait! You can show me a game that needs a whole year and a half in development as long as I know it's coming..just gimme something to bite! They're playing it TOO safe...give us an HD FPS Metroid,Star Fox U, Pokemon SNap 2 or a sequel/HD remake to Donkey Kong 64...OR hey how awesome would an action-RPG Mario game be! The return of Geno and Mallow! And one of the last levels features Link as a guest star!Okay that's too much of a pipe dream. How about an action/RPG based around Fire Emblem? Nintendo has a gold mine of games that they could make to make gamers who have yet to buy the Wii U at least eagerly await a particular game and contemplate jumping ship. Come on you know any one of these games would be awesome? At least more awesome than Yoshi in string form running in only two dimensions.

I don't particularly like the style, Just hope the gameplay is nice

Hmm, maybe it's just me but, did anyone else noticed that Yoshi transformed the way he did from eating a green Shyguy? What would happen if he swallowed one with a different color scheme? Besides, the footage didn't last long but, Who's to say that Yoshi can't really lay eggs this time 'round? Perhaps he can only do so by swallowing enemies in his transformed state.

I would've preferred a hand-drawn style like the original SNES game, but this isn't too bad either.
