I am very interested in a bunch of the games on this list Smash Bros New Legend of Zelda The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD JRPG by Monolith Soft Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem 3D Mario just for starters
I WANT that Monolith game. When they got in that mech and started flying around and battling monsters... Well, let's just say my penis became erect, if you know what I mean.
They announced a Wii U 3D Mario when they already planned a sequel to 3D land for the 3DS. Awesomeness!
mmm , Finaly convinced the world ? I will just say who ever was doubting Wiiu was Stupid and haven't learnt their lesson by now. Not to mention the wiiu is on 3M and they expect to sell 5M by the end of march, fail ? no lol. I kept using the Lackluster 3DS launch as an example and where it is now. Same thing will happen to wiiu but with better games. Nintendo DOES NOT need to sell 100M consoles to be successfull. They could sell 50M and be very happy as long as the installed base buys a lot of software and they are making a decent amount of money of Consoles sold and software sold. With wiiu Nintendo Looks like it's gone back to its roots a bit more. Almost like the Wii was an experiment ( a fantastic one) and Now with Wiiu they aim to try and bring back the core gamer. Wii stands for a group of gamers , U stands for you the core gamer.
the wii u is far behind that march 5 million it will not hit 5 million but the sales dont matter i want thee games. only the zelda remake has a release window so expect a year to even see those games.
I agree it isnt looking likely that they will make it. But their stocks have been steadily rising since the wiiU launch. The are doing well right now.
I think we all knew that when Nintendo would be ready to talk about their own stuff they wouldn't hold back.
Nintendo is gonna hit E3 hard. Sony and Microsoft better show off their consoles and what they can do. So far tho at least Nintendos E3 looks like it could be their best in YEARS.
Nintendo has no clue how to do a E3 conference, I wouldn't expect much from them if I were you; unless you like childish antics and long winded demonstrations.
Not exactly true. They had their quota of stupidly boring E3's, sure, but they have also had a few exciting ones. Just like Sony and Microsoft, really. :P
I am still not convinced. Like nobody expected new zelda and mario games..... I guess I am not part of the world, accoridng to this author.
Mario and Zelda games have been consistently the greatest examples of their respective genres, and I include Karting games in those genres as well. They are simply the cream of the crop so HD versions with better visuals than current gen consoles are capable of are definitely something to be excited about. Monoliths announcement and video was very exciting as well. I suspect you are trolling and your 1 bubble arsenal backs up my theory.
Honestly.......saying "It’s truly amazing what Nintendo has just pulled off. In 35 minutes, they have finally convinced the world that they have a game plan for Wii U" is the biggest polarized statement I have ever heard of after watching this conference. The amount of software is laughable, the type of software is like hitting a dead donkey with a stick, I mean... people are impressed by this half assed effort?
Yo ass hurting ya? sounds like it is. Need some cream for that? LOL The people in denial about this makes me laugh. I can enjoy a good game on any console or even a dang phone, but some people can't give nintendo props ever.
You're joking right...and why would I be ass hurt? Please elaborate on exactly what Nintendo is doing that deserves props ... without mentioning anything regarding a Mario or Zelda game down the pipeline....
calm down Art, I just poke fun sometimes. not here to troll like some people, but where they deserve props. hmmmmmmm.... 1. people for some reason thought Wii U was weaker than current gen, they proved otherwise. 2. They created a new user interface (Miiverse) is sure to be borrowed and expanded upon by at least one of the other big 3 3. They made motion gaming mainstream last gen 4. they made touchscreen gaming mainstream with DS and now currently doing it for consoles (watch one of the others have a touch screen) I mean throughout the years They have done thing that people don't give them props for. whether or not you are one of those who don't give them props, I don't know. I'm too lazy to look up you comments right now. I just don't see how a Nintendo Direct which gave the fans what they want (moreso than E3 2012) is half assed. Thats all
no one who bought the wii u bought it for killer graphics and to battle it out with ps4/xbox 720 they bought it to play what Nintendo is best at...Nintendo charaters in nintendos world. That's why I got it sure I can play uber realistic games on my top end PC but when I want some good ol Mario and Zelda type fun its only to be found on a Nintendo product. Sure there is lots of Nintendo type game clones but nothing beat the real thing. Mario, Zelda, Pokémon,Pikmin, Wario all the same rehashed games are still system sellers and loyal fan followers why? cause Nintendo puts time and heart into it, they don't care about omg it looks real its fresh they are like your home on a cold night a warm welcoming place to be and familular with, and that why ppl return to it for that feeling you cant get anywhere else.
Yeah, but that doesn't seem to be a whole lot of people. The other half is still in the kiddy sector buying Wii consoles. I assume those are the parents which don't want to spend that amount of money on a toy for the kids. That whole market doesn't migrate to the WiiU and it shows. Numbers are split. And I guess the "HD Zelda" clientel won't be big enough to make a dent in the PS4/720 (or what ever)...it doesn't even "dent" PS360...
I don't get it one great game and people are talking up Nintendo Direct as if it's the best news ever.. This is what I really don't like, any other company were to release a list that small people would be talking mad shit about how that system gets no games.. They mainly show off one good game and people are wetting themselves over it and acting like no one else has ever made HD remakes before? Then I have never seen journalist over hype a conference like this before with so little real news. I all thought they showed off some ground breaking features for the Wii U or something but no just a couple games, not even a lot just a couple none that are really worth talking about maybe besides two and one that is actually a fresh IP. Wow?
nintendo had new ip's on wii so back to the cave buddy
Zelda, was far from the only thing talked about during N Direct. Xenoblades looks freaking GREAT and it is not like the IP has been done to death. Have you even read all of the Nintendo Direct stuff. I doubt it. http://n4g.com/news/1159849... All of the GameCube games coming to Wii U as well, Via E-shop and you can play them on the gamepad as well. I am glad that Nintendo is remaking Wind Waker on Wii U, the new Graphics look great and the gamepad play will add to it for sure. I suppose you never played Wind Waker. Oh well your loss.
So little real news? 7 new major game announcements and a HD remake of an absolute classic is little news? When The Last Of Us was announced every Sony fanboy on the planet creamed themselves and that really was just one game and they're still getting great mileage out of it even though it was announced months ago! "They mainly show off one good game and people are wetting themselves over it and acting like no one else has ever made HD remakes before? " Hold on, you think all the excitement is over the Zelda HD remake? Did you just blindly wander in to this comment section without actually reading what all the fuss was about?
Monolith Soft's new game, Zelda Wind Waker HD, Yoshi's new game in the Epic Yarn style, and a cross-over for Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem... all announced in a Nintendo Direct conference, not a big event like E3 or Tokyo Game Show or Gamescom. You are blind.
Wow, they still manage to put a negative slant on it. Gaming journalism makes me sick. Nintendo was never desperate. I guess the act of releasing any new games at all is now an act of desperation. I didn't know they were suppose to leave their library empty and never make anything else. It was no question that they had games. It was only a question of when they would announce them and then release them. I guess the release of Orbis and the Durango will 360 and PS3's act of desperation. /sarcasm
today's nintendo direct isn't enough to show that the wii u is not doom in fact we already know we are going to see big system sellers like the 3D mario and smash brothers at E3 so which means they could release in either later this year or early next year
The sad thing is that you know you are going to get the next installments of UC, GoW, and Killzone on the PS4 as well. But if Sony came out and said that these games would be in playable form at e3 you guys would be screaming like school girls! The excitement isn't just in the announcement, but in the fact that these games are so far along that they will be playable. Which means they will see a release sooner than later...
lol what a bunch of haters...desperate times for who....wiiu is at what 3 millions sold...3ds is trumping the competition...where is the desperate times.....and nintendo announce what any great gaming company does...great games.
