Pakistan Bans Black Ops 2 and Medal of Honor: Warfighter

Black Ops 2 and Medal of Honor: Warfighter are now officially banned from retailers across Pakistan. Pakistani officials believe that games like Black Ops 2 and Medal of Honor are a part of psychological warfare and are an effort to malign the minds of youth against Pakistan. (Call of Duty: Black Ops, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Not sure the dev' care....

"The number of copies sold does not account for the unprecedented quantity of pirated copies available for just under $2 available in Pakistan."

Both games suck big time anyway, I doubt any gamer in Pakistan will care about it. Battlefield FTW!

U do not know how obsessed they are.It is almost same level of obsession compared to north America or any country that loves these series.

Oh, you'll be surprised. BO2's the biggest thing here. Everyone who has a gaming console has atleast ONE CoD game.
I, myself, used to buy CoDs but now I don't buy shooters unless it's Killzone or Resistance.
But seriously. I've seen 2nd graders in my school talk about CoD.
But I do agree with what's been said. There are WAY more pirated copies sold than official copies sold. Xbox is just plain pirated here. About 99% people have their Xbox hacked. While PS3, only a few have hacked. Most are original.

Good
This is interesting but very unneccessary.

Now I'm not sure about these games as I don't play FPS, as in most games like these you play as an americian special forces and go kill the enemies, and the enemy being from another country whether they be terrorists or not, I wonder how a game for example you play as a japanese attacking peal harbour(maybe there is one) how that would fair with americians? Just depends on what way you look at it

The U.S. government wouldn't ban it. Either of two things will happen. Some very vocal people will cry about it, the publishers will get scared and not fund the game, or the publishers enjoy the negative attention, release it and will end up being played the cr4p out of.

Pretty much this ^

Pearl Harbor is kind of a bad example as it was an epic fail for the Japanese in hindsight.

But if you were to flip sides on a COD type shooter, it may not go over well. It would really depend on the context. It wouldn't be banned, but it might not sell well.

Sensitive turds.(the people who banned the games, not Pakistan in general. No offense) Where is freedom of the press? Oh that's right they don't have that over there.

Lol what are you on about? You clearly haven't got a clue about Pakistan. There is a lot of media freedom there. In fact, it is one of the biggest political forces itself operating in Pakistan. Don't make generic statements about issues you have no idea about.
