Could Ninja Theory succeed in making a proper Devil May Cry game? That was the question everybody wanted the answer to, and come January 15th we gave the verdict.
(DmC: Devil May Cry, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
7.8/10
78 out of 100 also doesn't make any sense. A whole number, or a half of a number, that makes sense. But an 8th of a point? So, it's better by .3 points than a 7.5 but is .2 points worse than an 8 out of 10? That actually makes any kind of sense to you? How do you quantify an 8th of a point? How is it .2 points worse than an 8 out of 10 game?
Sounds like you gave multiple aspects of the game their own points then used a calculator to come up with the average score. That's terrible scoring and is the kind of terrible system that Metacritic employs.
I don't get the issue...
