So I got the original on the 360 because at its launch it was the better version. Now I barely play my Xbox but want the expansion. Although I was curious to see of anyone knows if they fixed the problems with the ps3 version because I don't mind starting over if the problems are fixed.

@below

There was super screen tearing from what I saw and played on the demo. Game breaking bugs and just a huge mess compared to its brother on Xbox, which still had some bad screen tear but not nearly as much as ps3.

What problems? I played it on ps3 and don't remember any issues.

I never experience bad screen tear (or any at that) on PS3. The only thing I noticed was the drop in framerate in busy areas/fights and the annoying constant auto-save, which for some reason you can't disable, that slows the game down. Even in the demo on PS3 it was the same story for me (framerate drops).

Not to say you're lying but off of my 150+ hour save I honesty never experienced anything more than framerate drops, which are on both systems.

Is Dark arisen a dlc expansion? Or is it more akin to the "Super" version of Dragon's Dogma?

A little of both it seems...

"The game will be available as both a physical disc and a digital download, and will come with a new area, missions and enemies, while including all the content from the original Dragon's Dogma."

It seems this will be the definitive version to get if you're like me and haven't picked up the original game yet.
