The Legend of Zelda HD Collection Needs to be Announced Nintendo

Nintendo is set to air another episode of Nintendo Direct tomorrow, to announce new Wii U games. A Legend of Zelda HD Collection wouldn’t really be ‘new’ Wii U games, but it would have the possibility to jump start sales of the Wii U and help satisfy the wait for a true Wii U Zelda game. Playeressence's Furious Francis goes over what he would like to see in the package.

If this got announced I'd save up for a Wii u

You should be saving up anyways. The Legend of Zelda Wii U is coming out next year or the year after.

- I saved 20 bucks every other week since the Wii U was announced and had the money, in cash, in no time.

Well its only 350 so it should only take a month or 2 to save for and games are typically announced 6 months to 2 years before release so im not too worried

Theyellowflash301913d ago

Yeah true, you shouldn't be worried at all. Plus who am I to tell you when to start saving. LOL

smashman981913d ago

Lol I didn't mean it like that thanks for looking out. See n4g 2 friendly gamers commuting without belittling eachother

Hey Hey! What's all this "nice talk" going on here. This is N4G, not a friendly place..

Quick, one of you call the other's mother a goat or something!!

Exactly what I did good sir , since it was announced at e3 2011 I saved over £600 and I bought a Wiiu with every good launch title on the day it launched , as with all Nintendo consoles :)

You are right about Zelda HD ^_^ I was saying recently WIndwaker , TP and SS in one collection . And put Ocarina and Majora's on the 3DS!!

Makes perfect sense.

True, there are so many people, who have not even played Majoras Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight, An HD visual upgrade might make the people who say "graphics don't matter" a reason to take a second look and see why these are some of the best games ever made. Because we all know too many people look at game and judge it.

I have been holding off on replaying these games specifically because I am holding out for an HD collection.

The author says that he hopes to use the gamepad for Skyward Sword, but Nintendo still supports the Wii remote, so why would they use a traditional method for a game that is dependent on motion controls? I don't even think it would be possible. Unless they made the sword controls like they were in Metal Gear Solid 2 where all of the movements are mapped to the right analog stick.

Theyellowflash301913d ago

Maybe they could use the right stick or touchscreen?

The Wii U is my first Nintendo home console so I have never had the oppertunity to play any of the Zelda games (except for Ocariona of time on 3DS which is great), so I would love this. Nintendo would sell boatloads of Wii Us and Zelda HD collections!

go purchase Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword on Wii, you can play them on your Wii U. You won't regret it.

I mean sure, you could wait to see if this announcement is true, but regardless, you should definitely play those 2 games.
