10 Essential Gaming Sequels We Want Announced In 2013

WC - It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day and it’s a new year. We’ve had a lot of hotly anticipated games announced in 2012, but will 2013 be any different? E3 is 6 months away, giving us more than enough time to hope for some of those much anticipated sequels, but which ones are gamers really looking forward to? Will Square Enix announce a new Final Fantasy game? Will BioWare have some juicy details about Mass Effect 4 and Dragon Age 2? Will Activision have another Call of Du–of course they will, if there’s one thing you can rely on it’s going to be Activision announcing another FPS game that will having 13 year olds screaming in your ear about the various duties your mother performs on them.

I do want more Ace Combat but I absolutely HATED Assault Horizon... a game like that should not have scripted fights... I recall hitting one enemy with about 12 missiles... went down a minute later in a scripted sequence where it slams into a building... felt stupid and cheesy.

I also decided to test out the crashing. I decided what I thought may have been Sun Life Stadium as a nice place to blow myself up. Nosedived straight into the field. The game proceeded to make me bounce 90 degrees and I had to run it into the ground 2 more times to lose... WTF

I thought Assault Horizon was a lame attempt to change Ace Combat into some kind of generic action game ala Call of Duty. It retained none of the charm and feel of the previous games.
