Call of Duty: Black Ops II - To Prestige or Not to Prestige?

FanBolt writes: "The biggest problem with Prestige, a problem that has kept many from diving in once they hit the level cap, is that it resets nearly everything. Some challenges take an extremely long time to clear, or are simply not available until a high level, which can be a deterrent and cause players to stave off hitting the confirm button. Some players just don't want to lose their favorite gun. Fear not- Treyarch has aimed to remedy these issues." (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

To eject, and play something else.

Congrats on posting something relatively on topic and mature. You must be proud of your self, you're so clever. I never have seen anyone come into a COD article on N4G and make fun of it. You must be the first. Oh boy! You're so clever!

Wow. Someone needs a Valium.

I made this comment in jest. I didn't think I would need to spell that out, but considering how many gamers suffer from sense of humour failure nowadays I suppose I should've considered added a winking smiley or something... *frowns*

Try to spin it however you want but it grows tiresome to see people complain about COD. Christ, I don't even care if you like the game or not and you posted a logical comment about it. The point I made is very simple, yet you try to make it look like I took it wrong and it was meant as a "jest". Read the article and make a comment about it. Simple really. Not try to be clever and take your own spin on the title and try to get some easy "agrees" from foaming PS3 fanboys who hate COD for no other reason because they think it's cool to hate what's popular.

By the way, your little "jest" doesn't even work with the title. If you wanted it to truely correlate with the "to prestige or not to prestige" you should have done "to eject or not to eject" or to "play or not to play".

Lastly, don't blame your pathetic sense of humor on people not having a sense of humor. You really expect people to think you're kidding about COD on a site that a majority of the users bash it constantly? Know your audience.

@JeffGUNZ

I apologise. I wasn't aware jest, humour or sarcasm of any kind wasn’t allowed on N4G. I’ll spread the word immediately.

Frankly, if my “pathetic sense of humour” is enough to upset you this much, I dread to think what your reaction is when someone actually goes out of their way to offend you.

Incidentally, if I had written my comment in the format you suggest, I wouldn’t be answering the question (which was my intention); I’d just be rephrasing the title, which is neither funny nor logical. But thank you for attempting to correct my remark, he who cannot spell ‘truly’…

Look, I get it. You love Call of Duty. It’s your baby. No one should be mean to it, but you’re saying this to someone who no longer likes Call of Duty. Know your audience.

You're adorable. Who said I love COD? My point is it grows old when people like you just post hate on COD for no reason. You can take a dump on the game for all I care, but at least try to contribute to this site instead of trolling like a majority of the people on this site.

Also, grow up you f'n nerd. You really searched through my entire post to find a typo? I didn't know n4g.com was a formal site where we post essays we need to do spell checks on. The sign of a giant nerd is someone who calls out a typo on a forum.

Again, I think everyone is entitled to their opinion about anything. Unfortunately, you didn't provide any constructive recourse about the article, you just threw out an unsuccessful zinger. I guess I shouldn't expect anything less looking at your comment history and how often you post. Dude, get a life bro lol

"You're adorable."
Thanks. I'm also straight and spoken for. Sorry.

"Who said I love COD?"
If you don't, why does it bother you that people hate on it? Or, on this occasion, joke about it?

"At least try to contribute to this site instead of trolling"
Isn't what you're doing to me now trolling? After all, I didn't invite you to start calling me names and pulling my hair - I thought you were all about constructive recourse, relevance and maturity?

"You really searched through my entire post to find a typo?"
No. I read what you'd written and the typo stood out like a sore thumb. I'm a nerd for knowing how to spell? Damn. Now I feel stupid...

"I shouldn't expect anything less looking at your comment history"
You really searched through my entire comment history to find ammunition for your comeback? I think it's obvious which of us needs more of a life, 'bro'.
