The Top 5 Nintendo Franchises That Need the Hollywood Treatment

Stephen Fontana writes, "Could Mario's next Star be on the Walk of Fame?" (3DS, Culture, Earthbound, New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo, Pokemon X and Y, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Wii U)

A top five that fails to mention what I think is the only Nintendo franchise that could make a half decent movie... Metroid! I considered Zelda as well but I can't help but think it would be like The Hobbit, but infinitely more cheesy and terrible. And we all know how the last Mario Bros movie turned out *shudders*

Agreed. Metroid has the most movie potential, really.

Failed to mention Metroid and Fire Emblem!

Although Zelda,Earthboud, and Pokemon could do wonders on a movie screen, I think Mario wouldn't work neither would SSB.

I'll go ahead and fix it for you:

1- Metroid
2- Zelda
3- Fire Emblem
4- Earthboud
5- Pokemon

This I would pay to see!

Why does Pixar have to be the one to make the Earthbound movie? It could be made by Dreamworks, 20th Century Fox, Universal.
