Nintendo knows.. exactly what console gamers want.

Its how Wii was the highest selling console last gen.

Nintendo certainly knows what people want. But the Wii as a whole shows that Nintendo don't have the slightest clue what gamers want.

The Wii was the highest selling console due to a combination of the lowest price point and celebrity endorsements. Hell, Oprah gave away a ton of Wii's to her audiences.

Perjoss1976d ago

Make no mistake, Nintendo knows exactly what gamers want. What gamers fail to realize is that the Wii was NOT aimed at them. Sure there was some core games on it but the console was clearly not intended for a core audience.

6 months?? if it goes that rate it will only have 1-2 handfuls of great games in it's lifetime.. like the Wii.

Ok, release one big N exclusive every 6 months, and get good third party support.

The Wii's lackluster library wasn't because Nintendo didn't make games... they made a lot of them, and pretty good. It was because of lack of third party support.

I still haven't bought one myself, but as soon as they release a big Zelda or Mario 3D title. I'm there.

They could easily make a trauma center for the Wii U. That game was loads of fun on the DS.
