Violence: Blame It On The Video Games

With all the craziness happening in the with the world today, I mean crazy school shooting and weirdos making it unsafe to the movies or malls, the worlds needs a scapegoat. And, who else better then the video game industry. (Industry, Tag Invalid)

Ever since the Columbine incident the media has focused on the negative impact of gaming like clockwork every Xmas and April. I'm not saying gaming is responsible but there is more gaming could do to become less of a target. I mean, do we really need to be striving for ultra realism when it comes to depicting the graphic nature of violence in games?

True, but that's what people want. Parents should be aware what games there children are playing. We have a game rating system for a reason. You wouldn't let your 6 year old watch porn or R rated movies. Well, don't let them play games where you get to blow peoples heads off.
