According to Dead Island: Riptide creative producer Anthony Cardahi, the debut trailer does not represent the true game.
So what was the point in it then? I thought the trailer was lame anyway
To let people be dissapointed sooner.
erm..............POINTLESS to release it then!
Lol it's becoming a habit then with them , releasing trailer that dont represent the games
The game looks the same as the first one anyway. Even the clothing of the characters are no different.
cause it takes place exactly at the end of the 1st so why would the clothes change...wow people will find the least thing to complain about...how about hope its not as buggy as the first
They did this with the first game and it's a bunch of bullshit. Congratulations you can create some CGI shit that is 0% gameplay and has nothing to do with the final game and then you get rewarded by selling millions of copies while other developers create trailers with in game footage and people cry and whine like bitches about the graphics being poor. The first game was so shit I wanted to break the disc in half. That shows you how shit it was because I was one of the idiots who paid full price for that POS. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Won't happen with Dead Island Riptide I can assure you of that.
I for one think it's smart. The game obviously isn't going to be about the trailer. I knew that the first time around too but I love seeing the emotion they can conjure from a zombie apocalypse perspective.
Dead Island was nothing like the trailer either. Buggiest game I've ever played in my life.
