Anarchy Reigns Review | Nerdluster

Nerdluster: Anarchy Reigns’ story is initially a better read than that of MadWorld but the gameplay and execution drag it down every step of the way. By the end of the game or even after a few rounds of multiplayer you’ll be longing for DeathWatch mayhem to make a comeback. Often actors motivations consist of nothing more than a passion for battle, they see themselves as gods who have nothing better to do than wait for a capable challenger. This contradicts the environment which has crumbled to near apocalyptic status. Essentially what’s the use of being a god when you rule over a worthless pile of rocks? The story should have been more monumental: the search for a revitalizing machine or an ultimate weapon to reshape the city. (Anarchy Reigns, PS3, Xbox 360) 65/100
