Casually Addicted writes, "Square hopes that the fresh mechanics and the new naming scheme will set up Lightning Returns to pull fans back in to the series. It’s so radically different from everything that has preceded it that it just may work. The question remains as to whether or not this title will appeal to the sizable fanbase that has remained loyal through the years."
you mean like...MILKING?
Also can't but further note that they're talking up the number of shops which will be in the game, and that translate to me that - somehow, SOMEHOW - they don't understand why a lack of shops in FF13 was such an issue.
Much like the lack of NPCs to interact with, which makes me frightened of what they've done this time around.
more derivative redundancy,with a 60$ pricetag.please
It's like Rambo movies, eventually they need to change altogether or just end. I welcome new ideas and new concepts, I always hated seeing the same thing over and over or feeling the same way over and over when playing a game.
The same could be said about music, I don't expect an artist I listen to make the same type of music with every song written.
I mean if you loved making games for a living don't you think it would get annoying people never wanting anything different out of you..? Constantly expecting you to rehash the same things over and over without ever exploring more.
Meh that isn't for me I guess some people like no change but I love it.
The fact that I still click on links about FF games, proves that I have not totally given up hope, but every time I read one I become more and more convinced that I am simply no longer SquareEnix's target audience. For their sake I hope they have enough Lightning fans to keep their business going after the rest of us move on.
