DmC is anything but a disaster. In fact, it’s probably the best game in the series as well as the best non-fighting game Capcom has published this generation.

In no way is DmC the best in the series, may be 3rd or 4th depending on your feelings on DMC4, DmC is a great game and a settler attempt by NT, but it has some notable shortcomings that need to be rectified if they do a sequel (and hopefully they do) and they fix those issues then Id say DmC has a good chance of becoming a great action game franchise, but it jut isn't quite there yet.
