Edge-Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Review

Edge:Ni No Kuni’s White Witch peers into her crystal ball and says, “So, this is the child who will save the world,” sneering at her pint-sized aggressor and his ill-matched ambition. The temptation is to sneer with her. Not at Oliver, the likeable 13-year-old called upon to save the fantasy world of Ni No Kuni in order to do the same for the life of his mother, but at the over-familiarity of the premise: the orphaned child at the precipice of puberty, who, in the words of the game’s attract sequence, will “save a world, but must first save himself”. For a story penned by Studio Ghibli, the animation house behind some of Japan’s most enduring and critically acclaimed cinematic fairytales, the hope was for more of a twist in the tale (Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, PS3) 8/10

I've said it before, i can't complain from a 1/10 difference in my opinion to his. I've seen enough to know my anticipation is more than warranted.

Can. Not. Wait!

Sad thing is you know if this was a 360 exclusive edge would have given this a higher score

8/10 is still an amazing score. Not everyone has the same opinion. And either way, this game is still getting 9/10 and 10/10 all over the place. I'm so happy I have money. I'll be getting this the day it comes out and make my friend regret getting a 360 :P
He's gonna want to console swap with me XD

8 is a good score. Remember theirs always ppl however that nit pick games and have bias in them just because. They hear a dev. name like Rockstar, Ubisoft and automatically give a game a 9 or 10 lol but for others they lower a point or so.

Either way maybe the reviewer thought it was an 8 who knows.

I hope this game does good sale wise. I don't play classic JRPG but I can't deny it I got hooked up when I tried the demo it is like playing Pokemon with new pokemons and like watching artistic animation. something telling me to buy the game.
