Square Enix has shown off Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII recently and even included a hands off demo for the first time. We break down the unreleased gameplay footage and demo to show off everything new for the conclusion of the Lightning Saga.

Since everything from FFXII ends up dropping in price faster than the time it takes to complete each game, I'll probably buy it when it's sold for 20$.

If it wasn't named Final Fantasy XIII, I'd probably be hyped for this game. But given my moderate enjoyment of both previous games, I'll keep my hopes down this time.

Still, looking forward to see a more advanced build of it. From the screenshots as they are now, it looks as bland as can be, but Squenix wouldn't deliver an unpolished product.

One thing for sure, I doubt they'll ever be able to fix that mess of a story.

So yeah, intrigued, but not so hyped.
