From the Review:
"Might and Delight’s Pid is a beautiful PC puzzle-platformer that will appeal to your senses. Easy-to-learn controls and a captivating story make this title seem like a slam dunk. Pid feels retro; but unlike retro titles which tend to start easy and ramp their way up in difficulty (or those that are just outright punishing from the get-go), Pid is a bit odd in its uneven challenge structure. This lack of design direction might stand in the way of solid enjoyment for some. However, for those of us who have patience, it is easy to forgive, as Pid is a great game that is fun to play – as long as you know how to count to ten."
"Long ago, the studio that developed the incredible Bionic Commando: Rearmed broke up. Some of the remaining staff formed Might & Delight, which would go on to release games like Book of Travels and the Shelter series. Might & Delight's first game, though, was an ultra-hard platformer called Pid. Ten years later, Pid is about to find a new life on Nintendo Switch. On November 18, a whole new generation will get to face the game's beauty, challenge, and 2-player local co-op," says Co-Optimus.
As a huge lover of Little Big Planet, the author became fond of Pid. The whole game reminds her of LBP. Like the aforementioned game, Pid is a very puzzling side scroller game, where you jump from different platform levels, collect currency, and hidden collectibles throughout your journeys. In Pid, you must avoid all of the little enemies on the map - touch one and you may be faced with a nasty death!
SteamFirst: Pid is a 3D puzzle platformer developed by Might and Delight, the studio who brought us Shelter. The game features eccentric scenery, a cartoon like atmosphere that looks as if it was plucked straight from a child’s imagination and puzzles that’ll keep you playing until the very end. Today I’m going to be taking a look at some gameplay and discussing the game and it’s features.
