Three Big Reasons Resident Evil: Revelations Should Come to Wii U

GenGAME writes: Resident Evil: Revelations debuted on the Nintendo 3DS, giving that platform an exclusive, mature title. While Revelations was received with fairly positive reviews and respectable sales numbers, it has yet to eclipse one million in total sales, and Capcom is looking to port it to home consoles.

We've heard rumors for some time now that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are getting HD ports of the game, and achievements have even surfaced for the game, but all has been silent on Nintendo's front. (3DS, Resident Evil, Resident Evil Revelations, Wii U)

To be honest it would have to be really really really enhanced to make me buy again over the already awesome 3DS version.

If it's coming to Ps3 and xbox it's most likely coming to wiiu aswell. Hopefully with Genesis scanner / Gamepad integration.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Genesis fleshed out more on the Wii U. Maybe give it a little more detail and usefulness, ala Metroid Prime.

TBH I think they should put Resident Evil 6 on Wii U. That way Nintendo gamers get what they missed out on and Xbox and Playstation gamers get what they missed out on.

Maybe it could do RE6 some good to have a remake.

As long as they fix everything that was broken. Like the QTEs, the lousy gun play, the half-assed stealth elements and scripted events that can harm the player. Just to name a few.

Personally I would prefer more new content. And good content while we're on the subject, which RE6 IMO is not.

Unfortunately Capcom already said they aren't bringing any titles that released before the Wii U to the Wii U. They're focusing on new games, not ports.

I believe...
The majority of third party titles on the PS360, should be ported to the Wii U's eshop service. Since the promotion deal (bought the deluxe Wii U model), I'm all about the digital scene.

@Erimgard

You actually believe them? Remember the Resident Evil 4 exclusive deal for the Nintendo Gamecube?

Ugh, I know what you are saying, but NO RE6 was a BIG let down.

I'll give you a great reason why not to: It's good enough on the 3DS. Is the game being in 1080p at 60fps a good enough reason to fork out £40/50 again? I mean just go and play it on 3DS those graphics are fantastic for a handheld.

Right, but I know a lot of people opted outed of buying the game because they prefer their shooters to be on the big screen.

I just hope Resident Evil "Revelaitons" isn't the last survival horror game Resident Evil fans get. Capcom have been complete slobs this generation.

I'm still hoping for RE2 remake .. am I alone? :)

If they're thinking of porting it to home consoles then I don't see any reason why they wouldn't want to release it for the Wii U either. Unfortunately, I only played the demo but for what it's worth the game did give me a few scares and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
