They can start improving it by going back to what made Resident Evil, Resident Evil. Go back to the survival horror days when it used to be scary to play the game in the dark by yourself.

Another option is to take every single copy of RE5 & RE6, and put the xbox 360 ring around each disc so no one will have to play them.

REBOOT it. Employ a scare amount of ammo, guns, etc. in the game and make it truly scary. However, leave the option for those who want "pew pew pew, me shoot everyone, me want make zombies d3@d," have the option in the main menu to turn on the "Action style" ammo and weapon drops.

They already rebooted it starting with RE4 and it has been downhill ever since. They need to go back to the classic style.

We don't really need Resident Evil anymore, we have ZombiU now. But if Capcom want to take RE back to its survival horror roots then I will welcome it.

I agree 100%. 4 was amazing because it stayed true to the survival horror elements along with having the over the shoulder 3rd person shooter mechanics. There was a good balance between the two.

5 was rediculous, and I too didn't even bother with 6. I mean... when I heard that it wasn't going to be scary AND had regenerative health, I was done... and wanted to slap the sh*t outta someone.

Make it more like Revelations, and less like RE6. Then, improve on the Revelations formula to enhance atmosphere and sense of isolation.

Make it a playstation exclusive once again. Just try it before you disagree. Look at RE4 it was a gamecube exclusive now just imagine when Resident Evil goes back exclusive to it's original home.
