DmC: Devil May Cry labels mainstream media demonic

Is this harmless satire or a jab at mainstream media?

New action game DmC: Devil May Cry is set in a fictional world where war rages between demons and angels.

Only the demons and their means of brain control in the game are suspiciously reminiscent of US cable news network Fox News and its controversial news host Bill O'Reilly. (DmC: Devil May Cry, PS3, Xbox 360)

I would agree if Sandy Hook massacre was indeed a hoax. I'd be glad that those supposed kids werent shot and that nobody died, but pissed off that the government and the media are using our emotions to get rid of our liberties.

Good. Bill O'Reilly is honestly not that far off from Bob Barbas in DMC.

I usually play games for I can get away and forget about the mainstream media. Now it's being injected into games....well that sounds horrible.

Its a satire, its not like these news outlets produced or sponsored the production of the game to advertise their message to you. Even if it is a theme in the game, its more of an FU to the mainstream media, not an "injection", that would suggest that its qualities and themes are prominent pushed into your face as legitimate which is obviously not the case in DMC.

The only good thing FOX did was show everyone crying after Obama won. It was the funniest thing ever.

FOX is far from being mainstream media. The mainstream media is liberal, not conservative or independents! It amazes me how oblivious some of you knuckleheads are in here! Seriously, don't be so misinformed. Chris Matthews should be in that pic! Liberal bias media king of lies! Bunch of Obama lovers that have absolutely no clue on what's going on!

Barbas is definitely NT's jab at Fox News' Falafel O'Reilly, truly hilarious.

Politics in video gams is boring. Makes me not want to buy them.
