A certain unnamed writer decided to buy a Wii U and has since decided to tell all in this very article. Life is hard when you're a slave to consumerism.
LOL another doubter, that bought one and is now happy! GOOD!!
Seriously, people need to get their hands on the system to appreciate how great it is. for me it's Nintendos best since SNES and 64
I played NintendoLand for a bit and found it quite fun, though i haven't tried the multiplayer parts of it yet which are apparently much better. really though the success of the system will be determined by if it can run next gen engines or not.
I tried the tablet controller out at gamestop but I didn't really like it. I haven't tried the classic controller yet but since its a clone of the 360 it should be pretty comfortable to use. Motorola RAZR i
I haven't been disappointed yet.
I LOVE MINE. ALL the multiplats that were announced I skipped buying on PS3 and 360 and I saved up £600 for my Wiiu since it was unveiled in 2011. So far I've bought (prepare to be impressed) , I will leave an honest review score for each game. ZombiU deluxe bundle Zombiu - 8 NSMBU - 9 Nintendo Land - 8.5 Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors EDGE - 7.8 Assassins creed 3 - 8.5 Darksiders 2 - 8.0 Blops 2 - 8.5 Batman Arkhum city (already played that but hey..)- 8.5 Sonic Racing - 7.0 Tekken tag 2 - 7.5 Mass effect 3 special edition (already played , but hey ) 8.0 Trine 2 directors cut - 9.0 Nano assault Neo - 8.0 Mighty switchforce Hyper drive edition. - 8.5 i saved up for along time to have my ''Wiiu blow out'' and it's been amazing. I really like every single game I have bought. It's an amazing console and it's litteraly worth owning JUST to play games whilst watching TV. Then you have Miiverse which even the crudest of Sony fans would enjoy. Wiiu is potentialy one of my favorite consoles ever. Just need some Pikmin , Monster Hunter , Zelda , Mario etc to get the ball rolling. I've sold AC3 , Tekken Tag 2 , Batman and Sonic racing now too...
I was thinking of buying it originally, but decided against that because of how expensive it was.
"Wiiu is potentialy one of my favorite consoles ever" Very bold statement there. I think the Wii U is very good and I haven't bought one yet. I will buy it sometime but to me it's not worth it because I'm about the exclusives most of the time. Wii U has a few of them I like but not many yet, E3 might change that.
"JUST to play games whilst watching TV" Ever heard of the Vita & 3DS?
They don't always get "full" console games.
Vita has some great games and 3DS as well, some of them are pretty much like "Full" console games.. others may be a bit shorter but they are practically the same, no idea what you are talking about.
Trust me I had a Vita and traded it for a WiiU and playing on the WiiU gamepad is far better than the Vita
I also sold my Vita to put toward my Wii U and I don't regret it. not that I didn't like the Vita, I just never used it. I can play games on the GamePad, have a fully functional browser and I use it everyday.
it was bound to happen the wiiu is a fantastic system and the games that takes advantage of it will be out later this year and load times and extra fixes will done and away with within the next couple months
I got a Wii U for Christmas. I have enjoyed it, but honestly, there isn't much to play on it...and there don't seem to be many games coming out for it. My PS3 gets all the attention while my Wii U is my new Netflix box. EDF2017 came out on Vita last week. DMC came out on PS3 this week. Ni No Kuni is next week. That Wii U doesn't get much use outside of Wii Fit and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. I already played through Scribblenauts: Unlimited (VERY fun), ZombiU (Totally underrated), and NSMBU (eh... Same ol' stuff). Now what? I'm TONS of games behind on my PS3 and Vita because of PS Plus, yet...the Wii U can't seem to get a good demo on the store? Seriously? Come on, Nintendo. Add me on Wii U. (JacobIsHollywood) I NEEEEEED to get more social on that thing. I love the Miiverse.
That's why I haven't invested in a WiiU yet. It has nothing I want to play at the moment. I'm hoping something good comes out soon tho...
Loving the system so far. My favorite part is Miiverse so far... and the much better online.
"and the much better online." . . . . . Stop trolling. :P
I'm assuming he was saying the online was better than the wii which would be absolutely true. Not sure about all the disagrees
Yeah. Definitely meant compared to Nintendo's past efforts.
I have Zombiu and NBA2K. I had Mickey mouse, it had promise with a lot of vivid color, but the controls and poor presentation made me tire of the game really fast. All in all the wiiu is a great machine
i bought a wii u today and im loving it
I do like my Wii U; it has potential, but I still feel like there are a lack of "must-have" games for the system. So far, I only own two games: Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U. The former is tons of fun on the rare occasion that I can actually get five people together who have at least semi-competent gaming ability. You would be surprised at how many adults here in the Netherlands have difficult just using the D-pad to control the ghost/ghost hunters in the Luigi's Mansion game. The latter I've finished to 100% (five stars), except the Challenges and Boost Rush Mode or whatever it's called, which I don't really care for too much, although I still completed a fair chunk of them. If Nintendo had given the Wii U an achievement system, I might have been more inclined to do all the challenges, but they didn't. Anyway, the only games I'm really looking forward to now are Rayman Legends (definitely a day-one buy) and Bayonetta 2 (possibly also day-one buy). There are also some good multi-platform games that I would like to play like AC3, Batman, Trine 2, etc. but I would rather play those on PS3 for the trophy support, and some I already own on PS3 anyway, or got for free on PSPlus subscription in the case of Batman. The rest of the Wii U library either don't really interest me, or I'm on the fence, with games like Zombi-U and Little Inferno. I wanted to try the Zombi-U demo, but Nintendo has restricted the download until after 23:00 due to mature content. :p The only thing I've really done with my Wii U in the past couple weeks since finished New Super Mario Bros. U is playing Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story in Wii mode. Hopefully Nintendo will announce some new iterations of their franchises this year at E3.
If you like survival horror I'd recommend zombieu. I'm enjoying it and I'm only about 3 hrs in. You have to actually play smart and not blast through everything.
I love my Wii U. I held off on both Batman and Assassin's Creed III awaiting the Wii U release. I also picked up New Super Mario Bros. Wii U, Zombi U, downloaded Little Infernos. Loving it so far. Though they need to integrate the virtual console into the eshop like yesterday. lol That said, I can't wait until Rayman Legends, Monster Hunter Tri, Bayonetta 2, Aliens Colonial Marines, and Pikmin 3 come out. Those are all preordered!
Love my U.I'm rocking mario and tekken tag atm.I really want zombie u but way to many mixed reveiws.
I highly recommend Zombie U, didnt think it would scare me...
Zombi u is great, one of my fav on the console ATM. Add me if you want. Nintendo Id. FastTrack76
I'm loving the reaction guys! Though I have to admit that the Wii U still isn't my console of choice, it is a very welcome addition to my console collection. Who cares if the Xbox 720/Durango or PS4 comes along in the next year or so and blows the Wii U out of the water? I just want to enjoy the innovation here and now, rather than being cynical about it because of what may happen in the near future. For now, I'm just happy that I can play on ZombiU!
