Shinkawa is preparing a surprise for Metal Gear's 25th Anniversary

a rebirth edition
of the original metal gear would be great. Konami did other rebirth games for contra, gradius and castlevania. Surprising they did not do a rebirth version of the one that started it all.

yeah a remake, HD version of MGS1 will be awesome and a remake of the original metal gear will be awesome too.

Well, I think we just might see that HD remake of MGS1. After all, Kojima did say he really wanted to go back and do that over again in HD. We had the Twin Snakes, and as awesome as it was, I just wish they hadn't changed the boss music and voice of Grey Fox. That kind of killed it for me... Not to mention their faces were kind of ugly though... Especially Solid's lol.
