PS3TROPHIES :Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Review

PS3TROPHIES :
"No matter which way you look at it, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is every bit a success - a two finger salute to everyone that had written off the JRPG for dead. It's probably too much to hope for that this game will spark a new renaissance for the genre, but it's nice to see that it's still got this quality of fight left in it." (Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, PS3) 92/100

"Stunning, to say the least. Probably the best example of cel-shaded visuals ever put into a video game. From start to finish Ni No Kuni is a pure joy to watch and reason in itself to take the journey."

Gameplay and story:
"A good mix of tested RPG mechanics combine to form something diverse, rewarding and entertaining. The Familiar system in itself would have been enough, but the battle system, world map exploration and dungeon trekking all work in tandem to demonstrate how much this genre still has to give.

There's plenty to do, with new elements added regularly and almost up to the very final moments. Side quests, Familiar fighting tournaments, optional 'bounty' boss battles and the equivalent of Pokemon collecting keep things from feeling like a grind.
"

i can't wait for this game
thank you level 5 & sony

Only 6 days to go!! This is the first game in a very long time that I have been looking forward to with anticipation. And its the only game EVER that I am picking up on day 1. A pure fantasy JRPG which takes me and mhy imagination back to my younger days when I was first getting into RPGs.

Woah, I always thought Ni No Kuni was a childrens game. But now I can't wait for it! With Xenoblade, The Last Story, Pandora's Heart, Persona Golden 4, and now Ni No Kuni I'm sure the return of JRPGs are truly on its way!

Managed to scoop up a special edition of this when a site I use emailed to let me know they'd had a small supply in. Sadly we don't get it til the 1st Feb but I think it'll make a nice addition to my collection. Looks fantastic, an innocent and beautiful looking game.
