The 50 best selling XBLA games of all time

GamesAsylum runs down the best selling XBLA games in history. There are a more than a couple of surprises on the list. (Minecraft, Rock Band Blitz, Trials HD, Worms, Xbox 360)

Braid, Fez, and Geometry Wars not in the top 50 is quite surprising.

Bomberman at(14)is nice to see ( I have spent tons of time on this), and Limbo at (21) are the two games at the top of my XBLA list...

Trials Hd at #3 might be a great deal as it is available at retail in a triple pack along with the similarly brilliant LIMBO and Splosion Man. Think I will go for it...

Yeah it is surprising, I much preferred Braid and Fez to Limbo (which I still liked alot) and felt they were far more innovative. Geometry Wars is as responsible for XBLA being so popular as any game out there so I shocked it's not in top 50.

Battlefield 1943 at nr. 8....
Such a brilliant game, which is why it's such a shame that EA/DICE didn't support it with releasing new maps for it and keeping it alive.

@Psychonaughty

i find braid overrated.
it was a good game but not as great as lots of people claim. the art direction was good and all.
but i find the gameplay a little lacking.
i much more preferred viewtiful joe much more.
which is kinda similar with the time control only a different set up and much harder at times.
maybe it was just because i found it too easy to complete the game.
i dont know.
i did enjoy it but it wasnt the great experience everybody claims.
still want to try out fez someday.
played the trail version of limbo but that didnt do anything for me.

No Alan Wake, Beyond Good and Evil, Banjo Kazooie (or Tooie), Dust or Mark Of The Ninja make Jack a dull boy.

Depressing that the South Park TD game is in the 30's, as that games sucks major ass (I own it, and am a fan of South Park).

There are others that I think should be in there, but that list would be too long. So much shovelware in their. I own a lot of the titles in their, and most of them deserve it (the ones I have played).

Surprised that Braid, Fez or Geometry Wars not making the Top 50 list.
Although this could mean that 2 of the 3 XBLA games here could end up on the PC and sell very well on it.

I own a surprisingly large amount of those games...Most are really amazing, XBLA has really come a long, long way.
