Yeah. Square loves to think that we all still care about the story portion of Final Fantasy XIII, so much so that a new character which only has to do with the story is important... sigh... well, maybe this character will push XIII into something enjoyable!

Well, at least the costume thing seems nice. I'm one of those crazy people who actually liked the battle system in X-2, with the changes between costumes during battle. Too bad I'm not touching this game with a ten-foot pole unless it's somehow amazing as a standalone title.
Why would it be pointless to announce a new main character in the game? She is most likely important to the story in some way. How does that make any sense?
Is it really just me, or has Square really and truly forgotten how to make JRPGs? They can't simply take a step back?
And what's with this spilling all plot details before the game's release? That says that they have no confidence in their reputation as story tellers, and that they know full and well that they've lost it.

Here she is, it seems Serah changed her name to Lumina in the same fashion Claire changed it to Lightning LOL.
