PlayStation Vita’s Wake-up Club is your new social alarm clock

No one likes their alarm clock. It might be functional, but it’s loud, and it occasionally wakes you up at the wrong time. Now, a new application called Wake-up Club is about to change how you feel about getting up in the morning. (PS Vita, Wake Up Club)

Kind of weird to hear so much hype about a gamified alarm clock. But since I have a Vita, I'm willing to try it out.

And it's free! It's nice knowing you can wake up with friends that live across the pond or right next door, without being in the same house.

Well it's the most fun I have ever had with a clock as odd as that sounds it's true.

Dude, why start crap like that? I have a Vita and a 3DS, but there's really no need for that. The Vita has a lot of great games. I have 8 physical games right now, and like 7 downloadable (with PS1, PSP, etc., included around 20 or so.) That is an AMAZING amount of games for a system that's only been out around a year now.

I know it has a lot of games (PSP, PS1), but i'd prefer if Sony announced new games for it more often and not just these apps.

Yeah... sorry. Stretching with this one. ONE app for the damn thing, and you act like all the games out and to come don't exist?

If this little thing is enough to outweigh all the Vita has coming, the problem isn't with the system or with Sony. No, the trouble seems a bit closer to emerald in color.

are u insane? Vita murders 3ds in games & support.. Not sales for some ODD reason but publishers go with vita over the leapfrog shovel ware 3ds gets

Im a little confused.

How does this work. Do you need to have the Vita(while connected to the internet)on when you go to sleep.
profgerbik  +   580d ago
I think your Vita just has to be in standby or something. I know the Vita can turn itself on with PS+ auto updates so you can always just set an alarm for something soon and see if it turns the Vita on sounding the alarm.

Otherwise I guess it has to just be in standby. I just downloaded it but not really in the mood to be messing around with it atm so I'll test it out later to see exactly how it works.

I would imagine internet connection might be needed if you are trying to wake up with friends or whatever. I honestly don't know what it does exactly yet. Says something about waking up with friends and possibly playing mini games, no idea how it all works together.

It's got a timer also which I think is awesome for any games that have timed spawns or stuff like that.

If you figure it out get back and let me know.
