Pixel Related's 2012 GOTY Awards: Best Sequel

While it’s always nice to be surprised by a brand new franchise, it can often be just as fulfilling to revisit a franchise. It’s like being in a warm fuzzy blanket of video games. (Borderlands 2, Diablo III, Far Cry 3, Halo 4, Mass Effect 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Seriously?! Terrible choice. There's nothing Diablo about Diablo 3. The fact that Blizzard is trying to make it more like Diablo 2 is proof of it. 10 million sales is because of the name alone. Sadly, it was a disappointing sequel. Jay Wilson took the fun out of Diablo 3 and made it into an auction simulator game.
