You know MS, I used to believe you had a fighting chance, that your exclusives beat Sony's, that you overall were better in every way, including making deals. But why does it seem to me as if you rose the price for most games, and don't bother with anyone's concerns and the prices, while on PS+, they give you free things, you give us stuff that are reduced rather than free. Good thing I never go on Xbox Live in the first place.
You do have a point, but the fact at hand is that charging extra for things is not something we or I should appreciate. I mean sure PS+ gives you a loan, but think of it like this, you actually do get something in return, and a chance to use it properly before you give it back.It's more of the idea of what's worse, and what's better.
Why? Because I've taken advantage of several discounts on stuff I would have happily paid full price for. I've saved more than the cost of my PS+ membership, so it's kinda free at this point. The game "rentals" are just a big bonus.
More of the same. The best deals they have is pretty much once a year, the 12 days stuff. I think every item should be discounted at least once a year. The 'deals' are shameful, at least compared to steam and what Ps+ offers. I spent over 4000ms points during the 12 days sale, so I guess i'll have to wait another year?
You see more and more grumblings about paying for Xbox Live on the message boards these days. I own a PS3 and a 360, and have paid quite a bit of money for Live over the years. When my Subscription runs out this year, I see no reason to pay for Live again. The Next Gen is coming, and I for one will not be buying Microsoft's console. The only must have exclusive imo is Halo, and I can live without it. I hope Sony hits a homerun in the next gen, and forces Microsoft to give us online gaming for free.

First of all you have to pay for PS+, they effectively loan games to you and you lose them once your subscription is up.
Nothing free about that, plus paying for a chance to play a beta? No thanks.
